In ’81 during a trip to the Bay Area I lucked out and caught a Jerry band show at the Keystone Club in Berkeley.
Garcia and Saunders “Live at Keystone” album was one of my favorites and I was stoked to see a show at the tiny legendary venue where that album was recorded.
A local friend hooked us up with tickets and we waited all day outside the club to ensure a nice closeup spot for the show.
Finally at showtime, the band squeezed their way through the audience to get onstage. It was a killer show!
All shot on my trusty old Minolta SRT101 camera using Kodak Ektachrome color slide film. Manual everything!
