Carlos Santana | The Pier in NYC | 7.28.81
Although I loved Santana, I didn't get to see them play till 1981. And what a show that was at the Pier in NYC on 7.28.81.
It was a GA and they didn't care that I brought my camera in, a Minolta SRT101. I made my way right up to the rail and was totally blown away.
At one point Santana was joined on stage by the tennis star John McEnroe.
